Dig! Hadfield 2010 AGM

We are delighted to invite all Hadfield residents interested in an allotment to our Annual General Meeting for 2010.


The meeting is to be held Wednesday 21st April 2010 at 7.30 p.m. Our venue will be the Scout Hut which is on Pingott Lane (the small lane to the right of the Palatine Public House).

Dig Hadfield is officially launched!

As previously notified, we held our inaugural Annual General Meeting on Friday 20th February. Quite a lot came out of that meeting, but the most important are as follows:

• A formal constitution was adopted
  
• Officers were elected for various posts
  
• A bank account is to be opened
  
• Meetings were scheduled on a regular basis for the future
  
• Membership subs were agreed
  

Meetings will now be held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7.30 p.m., with the venue being the New Lamp in Hadfield.

Membership subscriptions were also agreed - £10 annually, or £6 annually for concessions. Membership entitles and individual to attend all meetings (i.e. not just our regular meetings), to vote on proposals and also to belong to our online discussion group.

We hope as many people in possible can join and help us to move the group forward.

Inaugural Annual General Meeting - Friday 20th February

We have decided to formally consitute our group, in order that we can apply for funding in future and formalise the way we operate. Therefore, we are delighted to invite all Hadfield residents interested in an allotment to our inaugural Annual General Meeting.
